We are proud and delighted to support AMVER Awards, organized by the International Propeller Club of the United States, Port of Piraeus, in collaboration with the US Embassy in Greece and the United States Coast Guard. The ceremony took place in November 1st, at the Intercontinental Hotel Athens, where more than 1.100 guests had the chance to honor the vessels – volunteers in the network for their respectable service in saving human lives at sea. A network of more than 22.000 vessels that has achieved to save over 2.800 lives since 2000.
Special thanks to the U.S. Ambassador in Greece and Honorary President Mr. Geoffrey R. Pyatt, for his invaluable contribution to the Greek maritime world for all these years, and of course to the Executive Committee, the Board of Governors, and all the contributors and volunteers who made this wonderful evening happen.
